Manufacturing Process
Every peice of lumber we use for our posts is hand picked. We bring the lumber in and look at all four
sides for large cracks, loose knots, and bark. If the posts are not to our standards we set it aside for use in other
projects. After the posts are inspected, they are then cut to length for each part of the posts, and then the decorative cuts
are done. Then the upright and the cross arm are notched to fit together, and they move over to assembly where they are
assembled by hand to make sure every post meets our standards for sale. Each post is put together with eight 3in ring
shank nails. When the post is complete, you have a great looking, sturdy mailbox post.
